Rt. 50 Crash brings Firefighters

Firefighters were alerted for a crash with entrapment on West Bound Rt. 50 at the Castle Marina exit.  On arrival at the scene, responders found a passenger car on its side with the driver still inside.  Chief 1 (Schlotterbeck) had the command.  The driver wasn't trapped but inconvenienced and unable to exit the vehicle without assistance.  The crew of Rescue 1 stabilized the vehicle and assisted the driver out.  The driver was assessed by Medic 1 and refused transport. 

Units responding: Chief 1 (Schlotterbeck), EMS 4 (Callahan), Rescue 1, Rescue 2, Engine 14, Engine 68 (Chestertown on standby at Station 2), Utility 1, Medic 1, Paramedic 100 and Maryland State Police.
