I am honored to serve as President of this wonderful fire department. We are fortunate to have a membership of dedicated volunteers that on a daily basis leave their families and jobs to serve and protect the citizens of Kent Island and beyond. We are looking forward to continuing this service from our new fire station of which is one of the finest in the Country. I am proud of the hard work that our membership, Capital Campaign Committee and the community has done with raising funds for our new station.

 
Do you want to be part of the excitement? We need your help! Don’t see yourself as a fire fighter, that’s fine. There are lots of other ways to help in the form of fundraising, fire prevention, public relations, bingo, carnival or maybe an idea you bring to us. Of course our main purpose is fire and EMS service. We will train you (free of charge) and offer you the most rewarding opportunity available anywhere, helping others and asking nothing in return.
 
My goal as President of the KIVFD is to ensure financial stability, to always keep our members safe and provide an exciting and friendly atmosphere that we not only maintain at our station but that we carry with us throughout the community and beyond.
