Probationary members Andrea Grabenstein and Keefer Pullen recently completed Firefighter I training at the Univ. of Md. Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute. This 135 hour course included numerous topics like fire behavior, hose streams, ladders, ventilation and rescue techniques to name just a few. This training is the just the beginning of learning to be a firefighter. Additional training in emergency medical care, rescue and hazardous materials will be in their future. Congratulations to Andrea and Keefer.
