Dwelling Fire Box 1-15

On March 28, just after 1100 hrs, Station 1 was dispatched for a first-due house fire. Engine 12 (E12) arrived first and observed smoke coming from the chimney. E12 and Tower 1 (TW1) arrived simultaneously and encountered smoke conditions throughout the residence, with one occupant still inside. Crews quickly went to work, opening up walls and locating fire extending between floors and around the chimney. Firefighters acted swiftly to contain and extinguish the fire, preventing further spread.
