2026 Open House & Public Safety Day

🚨 CALLING ALL LOCAL AGENCIES & COMMUNITY PARTNERS! 🚨

The Kent Island Volunteer Fire Department is gearing up for our 2026 Open House & Public Safety Day, and we’re looking for organizations that want to be part of it!

📅 Saturday, October 10, 2026
⏰ 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

We want to fill the day with hands-on displays, demonstrations, unique equipment, and resources for the whole family. We’d especially love to hear from organizations that can bring:

🐕 K9 Units
🚁 Drones
🚓 Law Enforcement & specialty units
💣 Bomb Squad
🚒 Touch-A-Truck vehicles & equipment
❤️ Health & Wellness resources
🦺 Public Safety displays & demonstrations
…and anything else the community would love to see!

Have a cool truck, specialized equipment, interactive demonstration, or service you’d like to showcase? Bring it! This is a great opportunity to meet local families, share what your organization does, and help us make public safety education fun and engaging.
