On December Friday the 13th at 1438 hrs. KIVFD HazMat 1 was alerted to respond to assist the Goodwill and Queen Anne's Hillsboro Vol. Fire Co's. with an overturned fuel delivery truck. HazMat 1 arrived and applied dome clamps to the man ways on top of the tanker to control leaks from the man ways. The Maryland Department of the Environment Emergency Response Division also responded to this incident. KIVFD HazMat 1 and MDE ERD assisted by FD personnel offloaded the approximate 1900 gallons of fuel that was on board the truck.
