Just after 1:30 PM on Friday January 14th KIVFD HazMat 1 was requested to respond mutual aid to Galena in Kent Kent County, Maryland. Galena VFD was on scene of an overturned cement mixer. Command requested HM-1 respond to pump of the saddle tank to prevent a diesel fuel spill during the recovery process. HM-1 arrived and drilled and pumped the saddle tank.
