For most of last week a few KIVFD members, Queen Anne's Co. DES staff and Maryland State Police Troopers trained to become certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians (CPS). The intense course included classroom and practical evolutions as well as daily exams. The training concluded with a car seat check event. As many as 84% of child restraints are not used properly.
