The Officers and Members of KIVFD would like to congratulate Firefighters Brayden Moran, Austin Watkins, and Shawn Wilson for graduating from the Maryland Fire & Rescue Institute Upper Eastern Shore Votech Class #20.
Over the course of nine months these members have endured over 380 hours of classroom and practical training ranging from Fire, Rescue, EMS, Hazmat, and Wildland courses; All while maintaining passing grades in their required classes and school work.
This program is a valuable recruitment and retention asset to the community and younger generation. It opens many opportunities and helps the students prepare for a career in the Emergency Services Field.
