Yesterday evening, Rescue 1 and Fireboat 1 were alerted Mutual Aid to AACo for a boat fire at Podickory Point Yacht and Beach Club. First arriving units found two 35ft boats fully involved with exposure to a third. Rescue 1 established RIT near the involved boats while Fireboat 1 assisted with extinguishing the fire and foam operations. Units from KIVFD operated on scene for just under two hours before returning to service.
