1-Year of Active Membership Status (12-Months)
- Enrolled in LOSAP Retirement Plan – Length of Service Awards Program
- $6 Monthly benefit for each year of service earned (max $240 / 40 Years)
- Vested at 5 years; Entitled to monthly benefit as early as 55th Birthday
- $25,000 Life Insurance Policy
- Active policy as long as member stays active; or has earned 20 years of service in QAC
- Additional payout up to $75,000 for Line of Duty death and/or accidental death
- Terminal Illness Rider – able to cash out 50% of policy with terminal diagnosis
- Eligible to apply for Critical Workforce Loan through QAC
- Up to $50,000 zero percent second mortgage loan for first time home buyers
