| The 2nd Annual kickoff event for QAC goes Purple will be Sept. 5th at our station.
QAC Goes Purple is an awareness and prevention program that empowers local youth and the community to “Go Purple” as a sign of taking a stand against substance abuse.
CPR and Narcan training will be held during the event as well as a candlelit prayer and community members that have been affected by this epidemic.
QAC Goes Purple is an initiative from Queen Anne’s County’s Sheriff, Drug-Free Coalition, Health Department, Public Schools, County Commissioners, Chamber of Commerce and the Mid-Shore Community Foundation. |
