Today members from Kent Island and Grasonville VFD took advantage of the cold weather to practice ice water rescue skills. Crews worked on the basics such as donning the ice suits, communication with hand signals, different techniques on reaching the victim, and on bringing them back to land.
Thanks to GVFD for inviting us and hosting the drill.
